    Eligibility

  1. The competition is open to youth aged 13 to 20 years old. There are 2 categories of competition, namely Category A (for 13 to 16 year olds) and Category B (for 17 to 20 year olds).

  2. Participants may submit as many entries as they wish, however, each entry shall be of a different design. Each participant (with valid contact details) shall be entitled to only ONE shortlisted entry for the finals.

  3. All entries must be submitted by 7 March 2008, 11.59pm (Singapore Time). The organisers shall not be held responsible for any lost or late entries.

Theme

  1. The contest seeks to use fashion to brand and promote active lifestyle as hip, fun, cool and happening. The design shall reflect this adequately and should include the slogan - ‘Stay in the Game! Be Active’.

Content

  1. The design must be original and in the event that it contains copyright materials, participants shall be responsible for securing all relevant and necessary permission or license to use these materials. All submissions shall also not have been submitted for previous competitions.

  2. The organisers and its partners shall not be responsible for any infringement of copyrights or intellectual property. The unlawful use of any copyrighted materials, unlicensed/illegal software, the posting of libelous, offensive, or defamatory contents is strictly disallowed. Participants shall be held responsible for any infringement of copyrights or intellectual property.

  3. The organisers reserve the right to remove or disqualify any entry, which in their opinion, is considered offensive and/or infringes the rules.

  4. All winning entries and their intellectual property shall be considered the property of the Health Promotion Board and may be used for other health education materials or at health promotion events as the Health Promotion Board deems fit. The entries may, however, be subjected to modifications as the Health Promotion Board deems necessary to suit its health education materials or health promotion events. This shall form part of the Board’s ongoing efforts to promote active lifestyle among Singaporeans.

  5. The organisers reserve the right to change, amend or withdraw the rules and regulations without prior notice.

Prizes

  1. The winners for each category will be determined by the:

    • number of online votes collected (50%)
    • judges’ decision (50%)

  2. The following cash prizes shall be presented to the winners of BOTH competition categories.
    First prize :       S$1,000 + Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection worth S$1,700
    Second prize : S$750 + Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection worth S$1,700
    Third prize :      S$500 + Adobe Creative Suite 3 Master Collection worth S$1,700
    5 consolation prizes worth S$150 each.

  3. Organisers shall inform the winners by email or phone. The prize money shall be credited to the winners via Interbank GIRO. Winners will be informed of claiming procedures on a later date.

  4. The organisers reserve the right not to award any of the prizes if the submitted entries fail to meet the minimum desired standards stipulated in the rules and regulations or set by the judges.

  5. Every participant will need to provide name, mailing address (as in the NRIC) and valid contact details (i.e. email address) during online registration for competition. These details will be used for verification purpose should the participant win a prize in one of the competition categories. The organisers reserve the right not to award any of the prizes if the submitted entries fail to give valid contact details, address and name.

Submission

  1. Submission should meet the following requirement:

    • Available background colours are White (R:255, G:255, B:255), Black (R:0, G:0, B:0), Red (R:238, G:0, B:0), Yellow (R:255 , G:255 , B:0) and Blue (R:102 , G:204, B:255 ).
    • In JPG or GIF format
    • 500 X 500 pixels in dimension
    • Not more than 400kb in size
